What is Grixis control?
Grixis Control is an archetype that’s near and dear to my heart. The combination of discard, burn spells and Snapcaster Mage is a sweet one, so I was thrilled to see that a list playing all of the above went 5-0 in a recent Modern League. This deck basically gets to play Lurrus of the Dream-Den for free.
What is a Grixis deck in Magic The Gathering?
Grixis Delver is what is known in R&D as “disruptive aggro,” a deck that tries to apply pressure early and then follow it up with disruption, such as counters and discard spells. The plan usually falls apart when the opponent has good ways to remove your early pressure and can keep up with your disruption.

Why is it called Grixis?
Grixis (Blue-Black-Red) Sometimes this means singularly powerful creatures like Thraximundar or one of the game’s iconic villains, Nicol Bolas. Grixis decks like to ask “how far are you willing to go to survive?” And the answer is usually “I’ll go farther.”

Why is Blue U in MTG?
According to Magic Head Designer Mark Rosewater’s “Drive to Work” podcast on the subject, Wizards used “B” for Black and “L” for Land, leaving “U” as the next reasonable choice. Blue we represent with the letter U.
What is a Sultai deck?
Sultai is the current deck to beat in Standard. It has game against every deck, and is able to improve post-board in almost every matchup.
